As we come to a conclusion for the first month of 2025, it’s incredible to think about what 2025 holds! Did January go slow or fast for you?

It usually goes fast for me these days, because as soon as the routines start up again, I like to hit the ground running!

This month has been a mixture of new adventures, new students, and new opportunities in 2025!

First up: Opportunities!

I was accepted to host a WORKSHOP at a big summer festival in July!
I’m so excited, and it will be my first workshop, after doing several talks online and a handful of in person talks.

With so many exciting prospects on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be truly remarkable.

I first went to Womanifest in 2023, as a volunteer. I saw the content of the festival, but didn’t get involved because I was “on duty” for most of the day, and ended up just meeting friends, and wandering around aimlessly!
I went back in 2024, and booked on to as many things as I feasibly could, I learnt how songwriting worked, I sang in a pop up choir, I learnt to box, I (failed at) did Aerial Yoga, I hula hooped to a silent disco, and generally I had a blast. I stayed the whole weekend, and promised to return this year as a speaker in some capacity.

When the chance to present a workshop came up, I thought that would be an interesting slant, to develop my storytelling skills, and further my impact. Because as an Anxiety Warrior, my mission is to impact as many people as possible, and let them know that there’s always a way out of anxiety no matter how deep you’ve got.

As part of my workshop, I have a handful of special tickets, which can be purchased from me at a special rate. If you’d like to take me up on that, get in touch!

As a Tropic Ambassador, I’m hosting a Hydration Challenge in February – this is YOUR OPPORTUNITY to get a skincare routine sorted, and to improve your skin within the month 💜

New Students:

I took on 3 new students in January. One changed her mind and went back to her old teacher, one doesn’t have a piano to practice on at home (yet) and the other, I go to his place- a local pub!

I love the variety of the students I teach, and that everyone is so individual. I’ve also had a couple of enquiries about younger siblings of existing students, who “come of age” in September, and would like to join for piano lessons too. Exciting times all round!

This is also the biggest season I’ve had for exam entries, with 5 going for various grades, from grade 1 to grade 5.

New Adventures

This month saw a spontaneous beach walk in the freezing sun, and of course the on location piano lesson, if the weather’s nice, I can walk in to Menai Bridge. (and pass by my favourite local Café on the way home!)

As well as that, I’m enjoying being the Anglesey Ambassador Twice!
I’m the Anglesey Ambassador for Women Supporting Women as well as for Network She.

For WSW, I currently host a coffee meet in Oriel Mon, Llangefni at the start of the month. For Network She, I host one Coffee Connections and also a Netwalk, towards the end of the month.

As I navigate through 2025, my commitment to fostering connections remains strong.

I’ve started 2025 by adding more structure to my organised events, so WSW is hoping to be the first Friday of the month, and the Network She coffee the third Thursday of the month. The Netwalk will usually be in the final week of the month. I always love making connections, and catching up with friends.

It’s exciting to think about the goals I want to achieve as we progress through 2025.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to see how my journey unfolds in 2025, what a great start to the year! 💜

Whether you’re a woman in business, or just a local who’d like to connect with people, why not check out my dedicated group?

Looking forward to what 2025 is bringing, what a great start to the year! 💜
