We’re about two weeks into the new term, and with that comes a handful of new students. I opened up my Tuesdays to make space as I was previously full, so I’m grateful that nearly everyone has managed to slot in somewhere.
It’s still a tiny bit nerve-wracking, meeting a student for the first time. Particularly if they’re at the younger end of the scale. The awareness that you could be seeing them through their entire musical journey into adulthood. The fear that you might scare them off before they’ve even started. Then of course the hope that they love it and I can keep the inspiration going so they love playing the piano even when it gets a bit challenging when it inevitably will.
My youngest addition this year is younger than my own son. A tiny little dinosaur obsessed lad. He loved it last week when he brought his two T Rex soft toys, to be greeted by a very large Yoshi!

It’s not just about the piano lessons though. I’m always networking. It’s my favourite hobby alongside my business, and it’s opened up more opportunities I could have dreamt of, including invaluable friendships!
In the summer I became the Netwalking Anglesey host for Network She. An excuse to network while walking – Two things I love?! The next one is just over a week away in Moelfre. (If you’re local, feel free to get in touch to find out more)
Not just that, but I’ve been listening more to my intuition. I go where I feel aligned. After all I am a heart led business. I go where my heart goes.
This weekend just gone was such a place. A Weekend of sand and sea, good friends, good times, and plenty of fantastic food! I didn’t want it to end! A chance to reflect, set intentions for the future, and to recharge and refresh. New ideas and connections formed.
September was also the month that my book launched on AUDIBLE! That took me most of the summer, but it’s been nice to say that project is complete!
