During the summer, I inevitably have fewer students, as many are on holiday. I do teach in the summer, but I’m still not brilliant at promoting myself widely enough. The couple that have booked on have had fun though, and I hope to see them again maybe in the next holiday season ๐
In the meantime, with the fantastic weather, I’ve been going on as many adventures as time permits, and also working on the audible version of my book. (Narrating it myself is no mean feat, but I’ll get there! Launch is aiming for the autumn, watch this space!)
So, for this month, I thought I’d share a gallery of some of the local views I’ve been taking in <3
(and the afternoon at the park with my kid too ๐ )
Lots of walking, networking, and a bit of ‘netwalking’! It doesn’t end here. I’ve just finished my final week of the academic year of teaching, so the next two weeks are truly my summer holiday. The beauty of being a private piano tutor, means no lesson prep, you just know your students and what you’re doing from one lesson to the next, so ‘winging’ it comes naturally! I just have to practice for my next piano live session in my den, for September is “Gaming” themed music!
Ooh and one more update, another music tutor and I have collaborated to bring you a “music practice” book. All will be revealed soon! I love self publishing my own notebooks!
