What is summer to you? For me it’s not just a season. It’s a vibe, an experience, memories to be made while the days are lighter and the weather is more favourable!

I took a break from blogging here as I was busy with lots of other things, all whilst struggling with being a mum to a child who won’t settle to sleep easily despite being now 8 years old!

However, I’ve been working on a lot of things behind the scenes, so I’ll keep a summary. If you’d like the most up to date things that have been happening, why not sign up to my newsletter?

After taking some time out with the husband during Easter break, and then celebrating my kid’s 8th birthday with steam trains, and more trains…

I celebrated my third anniversary since my book was published in mid May.

a photo of me with 3 networking friends, showing copies of my book, sat at a table for lunch at Dylan's restaurant. Looking like summer!

May was really good for warm weather so I got out where I could, but my priority in May was also to go climbing ideally twice a week, as I had unlimited access for a month after I finished my introduction and signed off as a “competent climber”

Some of the adventures I went on in May…

But summer is here, not just in warmer weather, but events too…

I did my first in person speaking gig (in a while) in Chester last week for Laura Teare’s “Get **it Done Club”

It was amazing, and I wasn’t shaky either, I was confident, and that’s progress from the last time I stood up to speak the previous year.

I can’t wait until late June/early July where I’m presenting two workshops at two different festivals.

First up is the Anglesey Yoga Festival 20-22 June where I’ll be giving my talk at 11.30am on the Saturday.

And then Second up is Womanifest – a massive festival in Cheshire! I’ll be presenting my workshop at 4.30pm on the Sunday, so I hope people will stay for that, as it’s close to the end of the festival, but I had to move it because I absolutely had to join the pop up choir!

There’s literally something for everyone, well if you’re a woman/teenager looking to be inspired, empowered and most of all looking for your glow up!

And if it’s sunny on the Saturday evening, you may well find me doing this again!

In other news, I’ve been nominated for not one, but TWO awards!

FINALIST for the creative business award, and NOMINATED for Speaker of the Year!

More information in the near future on these, as I may need your support with voting πŸ’œ

but first, I’ve got a very busy week celebrating my level 39 with various groups of friends, bring it on! (Technically it started yesterday, but it’s officially this week!) πŸ’œπŸŽ‚πŸ’œ
