This afternoon was my final live virtual Christmas Concert. It was becoming a bit of a tradition, and it always goes down so well amongst those who are able to support me. This year is my final one because once again the tides have changed. People are out and about now, not many are indoors, so next year I’m intending to put on an in person concert (or few) watch this space!
Before lockdown I wouldn’t have dreamt of such a thing, I was too anxious to get out there for fear people thought I was rubbish at playing the piano.
What was holding me back was perfectionism, the fear of being judged and the lack of opportunities as back then I didn’t know how to network and get myself out there.
Next year I hope to involve some of my students too, I’m ready to get out there. I never actually want to be a “concert” pianist, but I’d love to play on stage to a sell out little venue next year π
2021 was invisible to visible.
2022 was owning my visibility – got my memoirs published & launched a podcast!
2023 public speaker and (in person) pianist!
But 2022 was the year of the Tiger. I am a Tiger. It truly was “my” year, and I owned it!

Merry Christmas to all! Love to all who’ve supported me in any capacity this year, you mean more to me than you’ll ever know π
Here’s the feedback from this year’s concert!
