I joined as a Tropic Ambassador in March 2020. Like all professional musicians facing the catastrophic effects of Covid 19 and its restrictions, I turned to the internet in the hope of finding something to supplement what I was doing. Something I could channel my creative energy into while the tides were low in the music industry.

Why Tropic? Because I had my eye on network marketing for a while, and wanted a way into the actual networking world. I saw Tropic and loved their Infinite Purpose. I love the fact that Susie Ma has such a rich upbringing, starting in Shanghai with inspiration from her grandmother who was a Toxicologist and Medicinal Chemist initially, and then learning about all the benefits of ingredients whilst growing up in Cairns, Australia. By the time she moved to London in her teens, she was a fountain of knowledge, and started selling pots of body scrub at Greenwich market. After being on the apprentice in 2011, even though she was a runner up, Sir Alan Sugar invested in her company, and to date it’s still the most profitable company he ever invested in. Today we have over 20,000 ambassadors in the network and for the fifth year running it’s been marked as the fastest growing company in the Financial Times!

For me to date, I went from being a very shy piano teacher to a confident “Tropic Pianist Gamer”. Tropic gave the networking opportunities that I’d never had before, and in turn this has enabled me to go on a huge self development journey for both my mental health and my businesses! I can’t wait to see what the future brings both for Tropic and myself!
